The Color Key of Creation

"If we disire to escape from the three-dimensional world and go farther, we must first of all work out the fundamental logical principle which would permit us to observe the relation of things in a world of many dimensions --seeing them in a certain reasonableness and not complete absurdity.  If we enter there armed only with the principles of the logic of the three-dimensional world, these principles will drag us back, will not give us the chance to rise from the earth.

How the Color Key Came to Be

Have you ever wondered why there is a rainbow....?
...why the colored rays of the spectrum of light are as they are... .?
...the experience of the beauty alone usually precludes the question....
...from an early age it became obvious to me , however, that the universe and its workings was not the result of some imagined "God"....rather, that it was a matter of universal, timeless and imutable principles working throughout creation...

...i could sense a fundamental, universal, and essentially simple principle being expressed by the unfoldment of the ray of colors in a rainbow...
...and as these colors were actually light; and as this light was a direct emanation of the Sun.... and as the Sun together with all the other luminous Sun-Stars formed the most obvious fundamental Beingness of the Universe, it occured to me that to gain insight into the principle of light would be to gain insight into the fundamental Beingness of the Universe.... (...i use the term, "Beingness", so as to avoid a possible anthropomorphic implication associated with the term "Being".... -- as in: "Supreme Being"...)

What really sparked an ardent search for a fundamental principle of light for me was when i entered college with a major in Physics and studied about the wave-particle duality of light.  Light measured in one way reveals finite, descrete "photons" shooting through space at 186.000 miles per second; measured in another way, light is a wave phenomenon, pervading space and pulsating at billions of times a second.... these two phenomena are essentially opposite in nature..... and yet they coexist as a paradoxical pair within the Unity of Light...

This paradox for me became a Koan (even though i hadn't heard of the term at that time...),  which i tenaciously sought to solve.... for i intuitively knew that by gaining insight into the nature of Light, i would simultaneously be gaining insight into the Mystery of the Universe.... the Nature underlying Everything.... So... solving this paradox became my life's quest...

It wasn't long before i realized that  taking the logical approach of Physics would be inadequate for  penetrateing this paradox.... so, i decided to switch to a Philosophy major....(...i figured: "what else was there!"...)....and was informed that the best place to study Philosophy was in Heidelberg, Germany.  I got a job, saved up some money and flew to Germany.  I ended up going to Marburg....cause it was also good for Philosphy...but a smaller town and i was looking for a quiet, quaint, contemplative atmosphere.  However, even in this small town the pace of mind was hectic...and not the atmosphere i was looking for.  I think the 'clincher' for me was seeing how the students in the cafeteria would gorge their food down in five minutes....and i'd be there for a good half  hour longer slowly chewing my food...  I made up my mind at this point that it really wasn't a university degree that was important to me.... or the study of various philosophies..... i just wanted to follow my quest to 'unravel' the Paradox of Light....   So i traveled to Munich.... bought a Vespa scooter and set out in the middle of winter through the Austrian and Swiss Alps determined to find a quiet place in the sun ...somewhere in Spain ...where i could stay and take up my search.

As fate would have it, i did find the place....it was a 'laid back' traveler's retreat called "Casa Campello" ...located in a small village just north of Alicante.  Unlike the youth hostels with their regimented rules, this place was an idyllic backpack-traveler's retreat....  Travelers could stay a few days or months in a quiet, unfettered atmosophere sharing stories and good communication from fellow travelers from all the world.  (It was so special that travelers from far away New Zealand and Australia would hear about it even before setting out...)  Anyway, it was here that i found the peace and the inspiration to focus on my quest....

The 'critical mass' of inspiration came after a month's stay at this place.... after engaging in a focused discussion of the paradox of light with a fellow traveler (whom i had become friends with) named Tom.  He was above your average intelligence and very much reminded me of Mark Twain...  so, anyway... i say that my inspiration reahed a "critical mass" because early the next morning when i looked at the sandy open area just outside the main entrance to the retreat, i decided to pace around slowly in a circle, focusing only on the paradox of Light.... and not to allow my mind to wander off on any distractions.... and to continue pacing and focusing no matter how long it would take to arrive at an illuminating insight.  I didn't think that it would take more than several days.  What was amazing is that it didn't  even take hours.... but in less than an hour something happened that i had never experienced before.... My consciousness broke through into another dimension.... not unlike a lucid dreamstate... where i was no longer aware of pacing around in a circle in the sand... in a small village in the Sun... but all of a sudden i was experiencing ...in a kind of 4-dimensional visionary state... the 'inner workings' of Light.  It was a full and lucid visual experience of the Mystery of Light.... which seemed to last only briefly.... and upon returning to ordinary consciousness, it was like coming out of a dream.  I realized that i needed to come up with some sort of symbolic 'structure' to 'contain' the essentials of what i had experienced.

So, i searched for symbolic word terms to 'encapsulate' what i perceived... as a three-fold principle... with a characteristic of Energy as a 'common denominator' for the three aspects of the three-fold principle.  The 'common denominator' term that i came up with was "position".  For, on the one hand, even though one might think that within the unending expance of cosmic space ...with stellar bodies moving every which way, that the absolutely precise Positions of these stellar bodies would be of little importance... What i realized, though, was that light was a direct result of the perfect and dynamic positions of the stellar bodies in relation to each other.   Morever, the term positon can refer to the 'magical', paradoxical, simultaneous co-existence of infinite space and infinite energy in the 'form' of a dimensionless point... ...which is 'described' by the term "position" to exist within relative space.... but is essentially 'outside' of space.... because it is dimensionless... ...does the centermost point of a turning wheel have any movement?....yet, without the motionless Center a wheel cannot turn... ...but i'm getting a little ahead of the matter here....

So, my first term was "Position".... The second term that i decided upon was "Change of Position"... to symbolize the dynamic 'time-based' aspect of light.  The third aspect of Light, though, is something that the Physicists have not been able to fathom... This is the aspect that is outside of the realm of Time and Space.... beyond the reach of logic and the study of Causality.... ....it is  the Transcendental  Infinite Being... the dimensionless, all-pervading  aspect of Energy... the Ultimate Void.... ...tha aspect of  "No Position".

Actually, the infinite, dimensionless 'Field' of Energy is the complimentary aspect of the dimensionless point centers of everything in the 'physical Universe'... ...the absolute point center of a star partakes of this identity by virtue of its position... ...the point center being dimensionless partakes in Identiy with the Infinite, dimensionless, Field of Energy --or Pure Being.... (...no matter what the terms here, they refer to the same 'no-thing-ness' 'void-nature' of 'Ultimate Reality'...)  Moreover, the relative 'amount' of energy ...of say a stellar body is a result of its relative, absolute position in relation to all other stellar bodies... ...thus, it can be said that stars emit light because they are in the position to do so!

The Universe is like a Liquid Crystal... and like the atoms of a crystal, all of its stars are held in absolutely perfect positions within a dynamic and 'fluid' crystal lattice.  Ever wonder what's at the heart of a black hole?  ...It's a dimensionless-point-center... and it's actually an orfice to somewhere else in the universe... a transcendental gateway where the energy 'gathered' can be transferred outside the time-space continuum... yet re-appearing within it instantaneously... It could reappear a million light years away... it wouldn't matter... it would still be instantaneous... So... there is something that's faster than the speed of Light... and the Nature of Light partakes of this Something....
